Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo has cooled reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.
Earlier reports pointed towards the 25-year-old having pulled out of contract negotiations with the Italian club in the hope of making a move to the north London club, as it was thought that the Gunners would swoop for the playmaker.
However, the Italy international insists that he remains content with plying his trade at the Artemio Franchi.
"My contract is not a case that people need to worry about," Montolivo is quoted as saying by The Mirror.
"I'm fine in Florence.
"There is no case and I do not want to talk about it now, I'll do so tomorrow after the game, now I want to concentrate on the Faroe Islands."
Italy have since trumped Faroe Islands with a 5-0 score line.
