Mario Balotelli Should Have Joined Napoli, Not Manchester City - Inter Legend Sandro Mazzola
Sandro Mazzola feels Mario Balotelli would have been better off staying in Serie A.
By Salvatore Landolina
The Italian striker left the Nerazzurri after falling out with the club following a topsy-turvy season.
But Mazzola feels he made the wrong move by heading to unknown territory in the Premier League.
"For Balotelli Napoli would have been the best choice in my opinion, he could have let people remember, distantly, [Diego] Maradona," Mazzola told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"He has world class touches, but it all depends on his attitude."
Napoli signed Edinson Cavani from Palermo, but Mazzola knows he is no Balotelli.
"Cavani is an important player, but I would not have sold Fabio Quagliarella. I have known him for years and he would have been very useful for them."
