Former Celtic Keeper Artur Boruc Not Happy On The Bench At Fiorentina
The Polish international may be forced to move after arriving just this summer....
By Andrew McLean
Polish goalkeeper Artur Boruc has spoken of his discontent playing second fiddle to Sebastien Frey at Fiorentina, after the 30-year-old moved from Celtic this summer for €1.2 million.
The big Pole moved on the premise of playing first team football this season in Italy but has declared he may be forced to quickly move elsewhere if he will be denied a regular starting berth in the Viola side.
"I came to play, if this will not change I will change my club," Boruc said bluntly to il Tirreno.
"Against Ukraine I played well but I can't continue on the bench in Florence. I am glad to be back in the national team, I will fight for my place but if the situation doesn't change I will simply change clubs.
"I accepted the offer because Fiorentina are an important club and I wanted a change after so many years at Celtic but it is difficult to say whether I made the right choice," Boruc concluded bluntly.
