West Ham United wing-back Valon Behrami is still targeted by Roma, despite the Giallorossi being unable to secure his services this summer.
Roma were looking to sign the Swiss star from Upton Park, but couldn't match the Hammers' demands.
“Behrami is an important player,” Sensi told Centrosuonosport.
“We did want him but unfortunately the deal could not be sealed. We had to keep our balance.”
Roma had little cash to invest in the transfer market and were hoping for West Ham to loan them the player. Still the Capitolini could be making an offer for Behrami in the coming future.
“I don't know whether we will sign him or not, but never say never.”
The 25-year-old former Lazio player is reportedly interested in returning to Rome and the negotiations are set to restart by December.
