Cagliari President Massimo Cellino Reveals No Clubs Were Interested In Federico Marchetti
Cagliari supremo Massimo Cellino has declared that no one wanted to buy goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.

The Italy international had sent a transfer request to the Sardinians and there were reportedly offers from Benfica, Sampdoria and Roma. But no move materialised in the end and Marchetti has now been relegated to the bench as second-choice custodian for the Serie A club.
However, Cellino has now hit back at suggestions that he didn't let Marchetti go and has also revealed that the 27-year-old will probably leave the club in January.
“No one wanted him and I am no fool,” Cellino told Tuttosport. “Right now he is training for his own good and hopes for a move in January.
“He was badly advised by those who care for his business."
