Fabrizio Miccoli's spell on the sidelines for Palermo should end by late September, in time to face Inter.

The diminutive goal-scorer is back in training with his team-mates after suffering damage to the cruciate ligament in his right knee during a match last May with Sampdoria. He underwent surgery soon after and is expected to make his comeback shortly.
He is likely to return in time to face Serie A champions Inter at the Stadio Renzo Barbera on September 19, although his comeback may be postponed until the clash with rivals Juventus the following week.
The 31-year-old had a very impressive 2009-10 campaign before his injury, bagging 19 goals in 35 appearances for the Rosanero, who narrowly missed out on a place in the Champions League qualifying round.
