Borriello joined the Giallorossi on loan a season long loan deal prior to the transfer market deadline, after the Rossoneri signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"I am very satisfied with the arrival of Borriello," the coach revealed to Vocegiallorossa.it. "It is important that after the arrival of [Nicolas] Burdisso, the ex-Milan striker also chose to come to Roma over a big club.
"I thank Rosella Sensi for her work in bringing another quality player to the Italian capital."
The capital city outfit were held to a scoreless draw in their opening match of the campaign against Cesena.
