Survival & More Are Bologna's Objectives This Season - Alberto Malesani
Alberto Malesani has taken a brief look at what Bologna can achieve, and the objective is safety first.
By Salvatore Landolina
New Bologna coach Alberto Malesani has joined the club with bags of enthusiasm, and the predominant objective is Serie A survival.
Malesani penned a one-year deal with the Felsinei after they sacked Franco Colomba on Sunday.
But he acknowledged the club's predicament, and is ready to spark the fightback.
"I am very motivated and I want to leave my mark on Bologna," he told the press.
"The objective is safety with little suffering. But underneath we all have the will to play for something more.
"I am here to convince Bologna with good football and I want to thank the club for giving me this chance."
