Parma have acquired the services of Udinese midfielder Antonio Candreva. The attacking midfielder  will join the Gialloblu on loan for the 2010-11 season, with the club having an option to purchase a 50 per cent stake in the player at season's end.

The 23-year-old spent the first half of last season at Livorno and the second part at Juventus, before the Bianconeri decided not to sign the player on a permanent basis.

A statement on Parma's official website read:

"Parma FC have announced the acquisition of attacking midfielder Antonio Candreva. The formula is for a loan spell, with the option of purchasing half the player's contract."

Candreva made his debut for the Italian national team against the Netherlands on November 14, 2009 when Marcello Lippi was still in charge of the Azzurri.
