Bologna custodian Emiliano Viviano says he is delighted with the Rossoblu's scoreless draw against European champions Inter.
Viviano put on a man-of-the-match performance to help his team to claim their first point of the new season.
"We played against the best team in Europe, and prior to the match, we would have been happy to come away with a draw," the goalkeeper told Sky after the match. "The side showed that it has the willingness to do well.
"We are younger this season, and are united. My role is to block shots. Sometimes it works, on other occasions it does not, but today I am pleased with my efforts."
The 24-year-old also spoke about the sacking of Franco Colomba, saying that "these are things that occur, and now a new adventure begins."
Viviano was also shocked about his Azzurri call-up.
"I did not expect this at all. There are many great goalkeepers."
