Sampdoria’s Stefano Guberti Delighted To Bounce Back Following Victory Over Lazio
The former Roma man again scored against the old foes…
By Stefano Federici
As Sampdoria put their heartbreaking Champions League elimination behind them with a moral boosting victory over Lazio this evening, goal hero Stefano Guberti explained his side’s state of mind as they got back to winning ways.
“We needed a good result as after Tuesday evening it wasn’t easy to bounce back,” he declared to SkySport.
“I don’t know how I managed to score such a goal but obviously Lazio bring me good luck as it’s the second time I’ve scored against them.
“Now we must take things a game at a time as this side definitely has quality.
“If we fly low I am sure we can gift the fans some more reasons to celebrate this term," concluded the midfielder.
