Bari Coach Giampiero Ventura Delighted With Continuity Following Victory Over Juventus
The Biancorossi tactician paid special mention to Massimo Donati who sealed the tie with a wonder-strike…
By Stefano Federici
After watching his Bari outfit pull off another shock victory over Juventus, coach Giampiero Ventura hailed his side’s team spirit as they got their Serie A campaign off to a flyer.
“We have picked up were we left off last season,” he declared to SkySport.
“Against a Juventus side who were looking to bounce back from last term, we again showed the character necessary to come away with a victory.
“The boys played an intelligent game and made the most of a wonderful goal from [Massimo] Donati.
“I think it’s unfair to punish Juventus for the defeat. We certainly had a big say in this result and if they are going home with nothing it is in part to the hard work my men showed out there today.”
