Genoa Were Lucky Against Udinese - Maurizio Domizzi
Domizzi says side were unlucky to lose against Genoa...
By Salvatore Landolina
Maurizio Domizzi has played down Udinese's 1-0 loss to Genoa, claiming the result is undeserved.
Giandomenico Mesto struck in spectacular style for the visitors who escaped with maximum points. Francesco Guidolin's return to the Friuli after 11 years thus ended on a sour note, but Domizzi feels his side deserved more from the game.
"I can see that already people are making comparisons with the past. This is another season. It's not the case to go into depression after just one defeat," he told Il Friuli.it.
"The lose is not right. We put everything the coach asked of us on the pitch. Their goal was lucky. In any case, we have to try and remedy this result for next time."
