The two World Cup winning left-backs may trade places...
Juventus are looking to include Fabio Grosso in a swap deal for Villarreal left-back Joan Capdevila, according to Sky Sports.

Grosso, who won the World Cup in 2006, and Capdevila who was victorious with Spain in 2010, may both find themsevles in new leagues if a deal can be agreed upon between the two clubs.

The Italian's agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, has gone to Juventus headquarters to discuss the future of his client and the possibility of a move to La Liga as the Bianconeri continue to try and acquire a left-back ahead of the new season.

Grosso had a poor first season in Turin and was subsequently left off Italy's 2010 World Cup squad. Meanwhile, Capdevila played in every match for the world champions and made 45 appearances in all competitions for his club in 2009-10.
