Fiorentina Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic Expects A Tough Encounter Against Valencia

By Rick D'Andrea
Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic insists his side can do well against Valencia in a friendly match, despite missing Stevan Jovetic and Adem Ljajic.
The former Catania boss is thinking of possibly playing new signing Gaetano D'Agostino in a playmaker-type role in order to cover for the duo.
But the boss also expects a tough match, and hopes his side can dominate whilst on the ball and attack the goals.
"Against Valencia, I am expecting 80 minutes of high quality, with an improvement in ball possession and to play well whilst attacking," the Serbian told Calcioblog.it. "I want my defence to be fully concentrating and that the entire team work well as a unit.
"I am certain that we will not lose, and I think we will be able to answer any questions posed to us on the field.
"I hope to have all my players at my disposal soon, and work together as a team. At the moment, someone has always been missing for one reason or another.
"But from the start of the season, I want my side to be able to play alongside the best our league has to offer."
As for D'Agostino? "I will try him that trequartista role, and am working with him. He already has the experience and understands what is asked of him," concluded the coach.
The two teams will meet on Wednesday evening in Spain.
