Argentinian midfielder Jose Ernesto Sosa appears to be on his way out of reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich as Serie A side Genoa have expressed an interest in signing the 25-year-old, according to a report from Itasportpress.

The Grifone are eager to add some fresh blood to their ranks ahead of the new season and previously secured the services of Eduardo, Luca Toni and Gergely Rudolf. They're also on the verge of signing Miguel Veloso and Sosa is believed to be their next target on the transfer market.

The gifted playmaker came through the ranks of the Estudiantes youth academy and joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2007. Sosa failed to make an impact at the Bavarians though and is widely expected to leave Bayern this summer.

Sosa's current contract with FC Hollywood runs until the summer of 2011, but the German champions are believed to be ready to cash in on the midfielder if an offer in the region of €3 million comes in.

Estudiantes, River Plate and Catania have also been linked with the attacking midfielder.
