The Portuguese striker has attracted the interest of Lazio...

The Biancocelesti are keen to add a new attacker to their squad ahead of the new season and head coach Edy Reja supposedly sees the 26-year-old Almeida as the perfect addition to his front line.
Almeida recently stressed that he wanted to stay at Werder Bremen, but the towering forward is apparently having second thoughts now that Lazio have shown an interest in signing him.
"I know that Lazio are interested in signing me. They're a great club and it would be fantastic to join them. I'd love to play in Italy and Lazio would be the perfect place for me. My agent is in charge of this, so I'll have to wait and see what happens for now," said Almeida.
The striker's current contract runs until the summer of 2011 and Werder are supposedly happy to cash in on the attacker this transfer window.
