Napoli Striker German Denis Awaiting Agent Arrival To Discuss Possible Move To Udinese
Leo Rodriguez - the player's agent - will arrive in Italy next week...
By Rick D'Andrea
The transfer of Napoli striker German Denis has been put on hold until his agent Leo Rodriguez flies into Italy from Argentina next week.
Rodriguez will meet with Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo on Tuesday to discuss terms about his client moving to the Friuli-based club.
"I will arrive in Italy Tuesday," the agent clarified to TuttoNapoli.net. "I am still in Buenos Aires and as soon as I arrive, I have an appointment with Pozzo, with whom I have only spoken with over the phone.
"We have not discussed figures, and it has only been an approach so far. Denis is also wanted by an important Argentinean society.
"Only one part of what the media are saying is true. In reality, there is nothing concrete about this proposal yet."
Azzurri sporting director Riccardo Bigon also admits that Parma are interested in the forward.
"Until the signatures are put on paper, anything can happen," he said. "Parma? They are also interested, as well as in another Napoli player."
