thumbnail Hello,

The Segunda Division side are looking for promotion to La Primera next season

As reported by Goal.com Spain, Segunda Division side Granada have acquired both Chilean international Fabian Orellana and Carlos Calvo from Italian side Udinese.

The talented Orellana arrives in Granada after having participated in the 2010 World Cup with the Chilean national team. The attacker has signed with Granada until July 2011.

Calvo joins the Segunda team from Udinese after the Italian club acquired him from Xerez, only to subsequently loan him out to Granada for a season so that the player can continue developing on Spanish soil.

After being promoted to the Segunda Division at the end of last season, Granada look like a team on the rise, having signed more than half a dozen players this summer with the hope of making the leap to the Primera Division at the end of next season.
