Fiorentina Have Not Made An Offer For Udinese's Antonio Candreva - Agent
The future of the Udinese star remains unknown...
By Adam Scime
Candreva spent the second half of last season at Juventus, but like many players at the club struggled to make an impact and he was later told by the Bianconeri that they wouldn't sign him on a permanent deal. It is believed that the Friuli outfit would like to sell the player this summer.
"Candreva was liked by [Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo] Corvino, but they have never made a genuine offer to Udinese," Pastrorello told Sky on Thursday.
The former Livorno man is considered one of the most talented young midfielders in Italy and played a part in the 2009 Under-21 European Championships. He was left out of Italy's World Cup squad by Nazionale boss Marcello Lippi despite having broken into the squad during last season.
