The agent of Napoli midfielder Manuele Blasi says his client would be happy to remain at the Partenopei rather than move elsewhere.

Blasi spent the past season at Palermo on loan, but has now returned to the Southern Italian side. Milan was reportedly linked with the 29-year-old, but chose not to sign him.

"Blasi is a Napoli footballer, and it has not been said that he needs to leave," agent Davide Lippi affirmed to TuttoNapoli.net. "Last season, the society made certain choices that took Manuele far away from Napoli, but this does not mean that he now needs to leave.

"My client would be very happy to stay at Napoli because he has gone through some good moments with the side, and likes the fans.

"Manuele was at Milan for a tournament in the United States, but the Rossoneri have not made any offer him to me, or to the staff of president [Aurelio] De Laurentiis," he added.
