thumbnail Hello,

Adriano is on the verge of signing his deal after passing his medical, but Roma want more...

Roma are ready to enhance their attacking line-up by making a weighty move for Juventus striker Amauri as Adriano passes his medical.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims coach Claudio Ranieri is ready to help revive Amauri's career in the capital by putting together a move for the Italo-Brazilian. He will offer Phillipe Mexes plus cash for the striker.

Amauri has been tipped to leave the Old Lady after scoring just five goals in 30 games last season. Reports that Juve have furthered their interest in Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko have also led to new doubts over his future in Turin.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia report Adriano has passed his medical with Roma at the Gemelli clinic. The tests lasted two and a half hours.

He is now expected to meet with club chiefs at Villa Pacelli to put pen to paper on his new three-year deal.
