Goal.com rates the participants on a nervy day at the Stadio Artemio Franchi as Inter won the 2009-10 Serie A title...
Curci- 7.5: The goalkeeper did everything he could to stop the Nerazzurri making four fantastic saves throughout the match, including a point-blank header from Diego Milito and an acrobatic effort from Samuel Eto'o.
Rosi- 6.5: Worked very hard, once getting back to halt Mario Balotelli when it looked he would be one-on-one with the goalkeeper. However, he seemed a bit more tired in the second-half, struggling with the runs of Javier Zanetti.
Terzi- 4.5: Struggled to deal with Inter when they stormed forward, Milito in particular.
Cribari- 5: His most telling contribution was when he blocked a cross with his face. Also needlessly booked for protesting. Subbed off after 45 minutes.
Del Grosso- 5: The Italian was always pressed back by Maicon and was not noticeable.
Codrea- 4: Deployed in a midfield role to protect the defence, the Romanian was completely overrun by Estaban Cambiasso and Thiago Motta.
Ghezzal - 5.5: The Algerian international failed to make the best of any of the counter-attacking opportunities he was presented with.
Vergassola- 5: The experienced skipper had little influence on the match and struggled to exert control as the Beneamata controlled possession.
Ekdal- 5: Will be extremely upset he missed the first chance of the match when he found himself alone in the area after just six minutes.
Jajalo- 7: One of Siena's most impressive players today, he created quite a few opportunities and almost found the back of the net on two occasions. One of the few players this season to skin Zanetti.
Maccarone- 6: Dangerous on the few occasions Siena actually got him the ball, he came closest when he tested Julio Cesar with a long range shot in the second-half.
Brandao- 5: Fared more or less the same as the man he replaced in Emilson Cribari.
Calaio- 5.5: The veteran failed to control a couple of long passes that came his way in the area during the second-half, kept Materazzi and Samuel honest though.
Reginaldo - N/A
Julio Cesar- 5.5: Made a good save on Maccarone, but had some nervous moments late on when he fumbled a cross.
Maicon- 6: Pressed forward as usual and put in plenty of crosses, however his touch let him down after a nice one-two with Mario Balotelli when he could have opened the scoring.
Samuel- 7: Was very dangerous on set-pieces, flashing headers on goal and wide, and was very solid once again at the back.
Materazzi- 6.5: Unbeatable in the air, was caught by the pace of Massimo Maccarone a few times but otherwise had a positive display.
Zanetti- 8: The captain was once skinned by Jajalo and lucky not to be punished. However, he was much improved in the second-half as he never slowed down and it was one of his runs that set up the winning goal.
Cambiasso- 6: Worked hard defensively, but an average performance from the Argentine, who will scandalously miss out on the World Cup.
Thiago Motta- 6: Added an element of control in midfield, dictating the play well. He was sacrificed early in the second-half for Goran Pandev as the Nerazzuri searched for their eventual winner.
Balotelli- 7: A very good showing from the youngster, who could start the Champions league final. Hit the crossbar with an acrobatic effort and set up his team-mates several times before being subbed off for a more defensive approach.
Sneijder- 5.5: The Dutchman returned from injury, but did not look at his best as he only truly threatened from set-pieces.
Eto'o- 6.5: Some excellent link-up play from the former Barcelona star, who was always willing to track back when necessary. Was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet when his outside of the foot shot was parried by Curci.
Milito- 8.5: Stopped twice by Curci, he would not be denied a third time as he controlled and slotted past the goalkeeper for a winner that sparked the club's celebrations and won them their fifth consecutive Scudetto.
Pandev- 6: Started a few counter-attacking opportunities, but often failed to provide the decisive pass. Had a goal ruled out for offside.
