thumbnail Hello,

Milito says match and Scudetto winning goal is best ever...

Diego Milito has said the match-winning strike against Siena, that sealed the 2009/10 Serie A title for Inter, is the most important of his career thus far.

Milito has hit 22 goals this term, but the one he will remember most was at the Artemio Franchi in Siena as Inter won 1-0 to bag a fifth straight title, bringing their total to 18.

"This is surely the most important goal of my career and I am so happy," he told Sky Sport 24.

"We had lots of chances but it was also a difficult game. Luckily I scored and we were able to win.

"The goal made things tranquil and it helped us."

All eyes will be on the Champions League final in Madrid next week, and Milito has promised more glory.

"We will enjoy this Scudetto win for now, and then think about the final, and we will try to win it," he concluded.
