Ronaldinho's agent and brother Roberto De Assis is in Milan holding talks over the Brazilian's renewal with the Rossoneri in an attempt to reach an agreement over personal terms, according to Tuttosport.
So far club and player have been unable to reach a consensus over the new deal which stipulates that 'Dinho has to agree to a wage cut in order to remain.
He is currently on €8 million per season, already €4m over a new salary cap that is set to come into force from next season onwards.
While the Brazilian is said to be keen on staying, he is not happy about losing a large slice of his wages.
Milan have made it clear they are retrenching and there will be no special favours for players.
The No. 80's current deal with the club expires in 2011, but failure to agree a final offer from Milan could see him ousted this summer.
