The Australian international could end up playing in Greece...The future of Palermo midfielder Mark Bresciano could be in Greece with AEK Athens entertaining the idea of swooping for the Australian international during the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to Eurosport, the attacking midfielder's contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and looks unlikely to sign a new deal with the Rosaneri.
Bresciano is seeking a salary worth €1.5 million a season, but AEK are reportedly only willing to offer €1m.
Qatari clubs Al-Ahly and Al-Sadd are also keeping an eye on the situation and are willing to meet Bresciano's salary demands.
The 30-year-old has also been linked with a move to Sampdoria, who were reportedly interested in offering him a two-year contract.
Palermo sit in fourth place in Serie A with 54 points.
