After watching his Roma outfit edge past struggling Atalanta to take a hold at the top of the standings, Claudio Ranieri called for calm ahead of a nail biting close to the season.
“There are still five games left to go and we must take them on with humility,” he declared to SkySport.
“Now the race for the scudetto is in our hands but we must be focused on one game at a time.
“We made our lives difficult in the second half and we could have done more to close the game.
“Without taking anything away from the opposition, it was only natural that the nerves would start to kick in at some point.
“Now we must prepare for next weeks derby. Lazio are in great health right now and it looks set to be a great encounter.
“The stracittadina is always a game apart from the rest, and all that counts is who shows up on the night,” he concluded.
