Toni is adamant Roma have a chance of wresting the title off Inter...

Roma striker Luca Toni insists it's time to believe in winning the Scudetto after scoring the winner for his side against Inter on Saturday night.

Roma were outstanding on the night. Daniele De Rossi gave them the lead before Toni made it 2-1 after Diego Milito's equaliser as the Scudetto showdown lived up to pre-match expectations.

The win leaves them just a point behind the league leaders, and Toni believes the Giallorossi will fight until the end.

"Tonight is a great night for us. It was important to win to try and reach a dream. We are now a point behind. We will try, and then we will see what happens," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"The quality and motivation are what counts. We played great and the three points are important.

"They are still ahead, but there are several games left. We will do what we can and see what happens.

"The World Cup? For now I want to focus on Roma and see if we can gift this city something important."
