Inter Defender Cristian Chivu Gets Green Light To Make Roma Injury Comeback
The Romanian has fully recovered from a skull fracture.
By Vince Masiello
The 29-year-old suffered a fractured skull during the Italian champions’ 1-0 win away to Chievo on January 6, but ticked all the boxes during a neurological consult with professor Gianni Broggi yesterday.
Chivu, who had been using a helmet as a precaution after resuming training, was given the all-clear to return to the fray and it is suggested he could be in the squad for next Saturday’s trip to his former club Roma.
The Beneamata visit Palermo tomorrow night and host Livorno next Wednesday before travelling to the Olimpico for a potential title decider.
