Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini Gives Thumbs Up Ahead Of Inter Clash
The Rosanero president knows getting a result against Inter will be less than easy...
By Salvatore Landolina
Maurizio Zamparini hopes Palermo can stand in the way of Inter's Scudetto run, but admits getting a positive result on Saturday night will require maximum effort.
"Inter are by far the strongest team in the league. They are 40 per cent stronger than the competition. Only they can lose the league," he told Radio Radio.
Palermo have ambitions to finish the season with a European place, and Zampa has underlined the importance of taking the fight to Inter.
"Can we beat Inter? We will go onto the pitch knowing that our position in the league is telling us we need to win," he added.
"You will see a focused Palermo that will only be able to untangle Inter if we give 110 per cent."
