Lazio Goalkeeper Fernando Muslera Motivated By Arsenal Interest
The South American is on the radar of the London giants..
By Adam Scime
"It's very important that a club like Arsenal are tracking my progress," he was quoted as saying by La Repubblica.
"It's one more reason to always do better."
The press have reported that Muslera has agreed to a contract extension until 2014 with the Biancocelesti, that will more than double his current salary to €1.4 million per season.
However, with the likes of the Gunners following the 23-year-old that may not be enough to keep him with the Rome-based outfit. Muslera has had mixed performances for Lazio this season, most recently committing a couple of errors in a 2-0 loss to Bari this past weekend.
The Castrol rankings list him outside of the top ten goalkeepers in Serie A.
