UEFA president Michel Platini has followed FIFA's lead on opposing calls for goal line technology, but he subscribes to the idea of having more referees in the game.
FIFA's international board kicked out the technology idea during their meeting earlier this month. Platini agrees with that stance, but he is open to alternative ways of measuring controversial decisions.
"Henry's hand? If I had done it then no one would have seen it," he told Italian programme 'Chiambretti Night', as reported by La Repubblica.
"But today everyone sees it, and this changes everything.
"So, there are two ways to resolve this: Either we add more referees, or we use technology. I am for the human element, and I think refereeing should be human."
