thumbnail Hello,

The Australian international's time at the Stadio Renzo Barbera is coming to an end...

Palermo sporting director Walter Sabatini has revealed that midfielder Mark Bresciano is leaving the club at the end of the season.

"He is the victim of nagging back pain, but it's being taken care of and I think tomorrow he will be back with the group," he explained to TGS Studio Sport.

"He is currently an option for the coach but it seems unlikely he will remain at Palermo."

Bresciano joined the Rosanero in 2006 after proving himself at Parma.

Meanwhile, Sabatini admitted to misjudging Diego Milito, who was on the club's radar in the past.

"Milito? Comparing the value of the player to two years ago we can admit an error, but given the growth of our own strikers it's just a small one because it would have stalled the development of [Edinson] Cavani and not let [Fabrizio] Miccoli, a hero of our city, best express himself," he said.
