Parma Coach Francesco Guidolin: A Win Against Atalanta Could Seal Our Serie A Status
The Ducali tactician was thinking positively ahead of Sunday’s clash…
By Stefano Federici
As his Parma outfit prepare to host struggling Atalanta this weekend, coach Francesco Guidolin spoke of the significance of Sunday’s encounter and what it could mean for the future of the Emiliano outfit.
“If we can seal a victory we will almost be safe, a whole two months ahead of schedule,” the coach declared to Tuttomercatoweb.
“For now we must focus firmly on beating Atalanta, without making any calculations.
“We will be up against a side that is forced to play every game now as if it were a final. Therefore, we must treat the game in the same light.
“It won’t be easy to match the Oribici on a motivational level, and often in football this is what counts.
“We must focus on the task at hand, and give the fans something to shout about,” he concluded.
