AC Milan To Announce Extent Of Alessandro Nesta Injury Within 48 Hours
Club confirms statement is forthcoming…
By Rupert Fryer
An official club statement read:
“A.C. Milan announces that the decisions about the therapy that the footballer Alessandro Nesta will follow, will be taken within the next 48 hours.”
Initial reports this morning claimed that the veteran would have to go under the knife to fix a broken tendon in his knee, effectively signalling the end of his season.
However, subsequent reports this afternoon then claimed the Italian international may only face six weeks on the sidelines if he does not require surgery.
The Rossoneri's team of experts at the world famous Milan Lab were said to be assessing Nesta’s condition today. The Diavoli faithful will now face a nervous couple of days as they await the club’s decision.
