Alessandro Nesta Could Return To AC Milan In 45 Days If No Surgery Is Required - Doctor
Piero Volpi has offered the fans and Nesta a ray of hope...
By Adam Scime
However, a respected specialist, Professor Piero Volpi, has suggested that Nesta could be back on the field sooner rather than later if he can avoid going under the knife.
"In my opinion, he could return to the field, without surgery, in 45 days," Volpi explained to Sky Sports.
"I haven't seen the lad or the X-rays, but I saw that he was available until the morning of the match against Manchester and is not using crutches or limping, so it may not be broken."
If the 33-year-old could potentially return for the last few encounters of the campaign against Fiorentina, Genoa, and Juventus, his presence would certainly be useful.
