AC Milan Eyeing Stuttgart Striker Cacau - Report
The Rossoneri are hoping to acquire the Brazilian-born star on a free transfer...
By Adam Scime
The supporters believe it's time to rejuvenate the ageing squad after no longer looking like a power domestically and clearly lacking the capabilities needed to compete with Europe's elite.
With Wolfsburg star Edin Dzeko's price tag likely out of Milan's reach, an alternative has arisen in the form of Brazilian-born German international Cacau of Stuttgart.
The 28-year-old has been in excellent form in 2010 and the player has climbed nearly 300 places in the Castrol Rankings since the beginning of the campaign to 64th and is listed as one of the top five strikers in the German league.
Perhaps more appealing is that his contract expires at the end of the current season, meaning no transfer fee would be required for his services.

Arsenal fans will be reeling after seeing their beloved club underperforming so horrendously this evening, and I'm sure readers will be dying to hear what Arsene Wenger has to say in his post-match interview!
Reaction, match report and player ratings are all on their way, so stay tuned!
It's 4-0 Milan and Arsenal are looking like a second division team here!
Lets go over to Sergio Stanco now, who has an update for us from San Siro:
"After the third goal was scored the Milan fans began to sing “whoever doesn't jump is an Inter fan!” and the entire stadium burst into dance.
"A rather concerned looking English colleague turned to me to ask for reassurance, such is the level of excitement here tonight!"
Olaleye Samsideen Olamide said: “I don't think so. Not with the way the Gunners are playing. Lets see what happens...”
Athos Gomes Fonseca was less forgiving, stating: “Arsenal confirmed as football's biggest joke.”
Harmed Hordeday Dewale on the other hand, said: “Arsenal can still come back and score, but only if Wenger gets rid of Ramsey and Oxlade-Chamberlain is added to the attack.”
Fair play, Harmed. But what about this atrocious defending we're being subjected to?
