Meanwhile, full-back Davide Santon and midfielder Thiago Motta have been recalled to the squad after being omitted from the 0-0 draw with Genoa. Teenager Santon last featured for the club against Napoli on February 14 and has not been in the line-up since due to injury.
Thiago Motta was left out of the match against the Grifoni for unknown reasons after playing in recent wins over Chelsea and Udinese.
Coach Jose Mourinho may implement some turnover against the Sicilians in order to rest a few of his preferred starting XI ahead of the crucial Champions League second-leg tie with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday.
Here is the full Inter squad for the match at the Stadio Angelo Massimino:
Goalkeepers: Francesco Toldo, Julio Cesar, Paolo Orlandoni;
Defenders: Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, Javier Zanetti, Lucio, Maicon, Marco Materazzi, Davide Santon;
Midfielders: Dejan Stankovic, Ricardo Quaresma, Thiago Motta, Wesley Sneijder, Sulley Muntari, Rene Krhin, MacDonald Mariga, Esteban Cambiasso;
Strikers: Samuel Eto’o, Diego Milito, Goran Pandev.
