Julio Sergio Ready To Pen New Roma Deal
The Brazilian is settled at the Olimpico and hopes to extend his stay.

Asked about the imminent start of negotiations with the club, he told Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper: “I love it in Rome and so do my family,”
“It’s a wonderful experience for us and we’ll see how the situation evolves.”
The 31-year-old has become a starter under Claudio Ranieri this season after being third choice during the tenure of his predecessor Luciano Spalletti.
And Roma are reportedly prepared to reward the shot-stopper with a three-year deal to keep him at the Olimpico until June 2013.
“I stayed away from the spotlight for three years, in the shadows,” he explained.
“Now I’m playing and doing well. I want to thank Ranieri for the chance he gave and the faith he keeps putting in me.
“And I have tried to repay him on the pitch with my performances. I worked hard on and off the pitch to gain this opportunity.”
