Antonio Cassano Could Return To Sampdoria Bench For Lazio Clash - Report
Coach Luigi Del Neri confirmed Cassano's call-up during Saturday’s press conference…
By Stefano Federici
Whilst many expected Antonio Cassano to sit in the stands tomorrow afternoon despite his recent call-up for the clash against Lazio, it now appears the boy from ‘Bari Vecchia’ could make the bench according to reports from CorrieredelloSport.
Following the injury to Stefan Scepovic, who is out of action with a sprained ankle, it now seems likely Del Neri will be forced to bring Cassano back early despite his recent recovery from injury.
“Cassano will be called up because he is part of the squad, even if he isn’t up to full fitness,” the coach declared earlier this afternoon.
