Fulham forward Stefano Okaka was not only satisfied to see the Under-21 squad defeat Hungary 2-0, but was also pleased to see many of his team-mates this evening claim regular starting positions for their clubs.

"We were good enough to start the match well, with the right attitude, and were able to bring home the result," the 20-year-old told ForzaRoma.info. "A victory was the only acceptable result this evening.

"This is an important part of the season for us younger players, as we now start to find some space in our respective teams. It helps us grow as players."

Okaka also had some comforting words for team-mate Mario Balotelli.

"Mario played a great game this evening, and we saw that he put a lot into this match. This is what counts," he concluded.
