AC Milan Star David Beckham Looking Forward To Key Clashes With Roma & Manchester United

‘Becks’ admits the next ten days can make or break the Rossoneri’s season.

David Beckham has warned AC Milan against complacency ahead of next weekend’s Serie A visit to third-placed Roma.

Milan stayed within four points of leaders Inter yesterday thanks to a 3-1 home win over Atalanta and travel to the Eternal City on Saturday for a crunch match with the Giallorossi.

“It was really a nice match against Atalanta,” Beckham told the club’s official website.

“The team managed to get a win and play good football. This victory helps us keep pressure on Inter.

“But now the trip to Roma will be important as they drew with Napoli at the death.”

Milan will then face Beckham’s former club Manchester United in England on March 10, looking to reverse a 3-2 first leg deficit to advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

“I’ve played there for seven years and it will be really exciting for me to go back to Old Trafford,” said Beckham.

“We’ll go there hoping to win the match.”
