The Nerazzurri have captured a new shot-stopper...Inter have signed goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi from Sampdoria on a free deal, and he will become Julio Cesar's understudy next season, according to his agent Silvano Martina.
"It's true. Inter have signed Castellazzi from Samp. Contact was made and the deal has been practically defined," said Martina on Telelombardia.
Castellazzi is currently recovering from knee ligament damage he sustained against Napoli last month. He arrives at the San Siro on a free transfer as his contract with 'Doria expires in June.
The 34-year-old was born near Milan and has played for Monza, Varese, Padova, Pescara, Brescia, Reggina and Catania during his career.
Milan's Marco Storari, who is on loan at Sampdoria, is likely to remain in Genoa as a result of Castellazzi's exit.
