The Nerazzurri will enter a bidding war with Chelsea over Hamsik...
Hamsik has been linked with Chelsea, reportedly seen as part of a €80 million spending spree that Carlo Ancelotti has planned for the summer.
But Il Corriere Dello Sport has countered reports in the British media by claiming Inter have one hand on the Slovakian international.
Inter saw Hamsik at first hand on Sunday night at the San Paolo and it gave Jose Mourinho the chance to convince himself over landing the midfielder. It's no secret the coach wants Hamsik in his side, and president Massimo Moratti is expected to authorise a move in the summer.
The Nerazzurri were close to landing Hamsik when he played for Brescia, but they stepped back, allowing Napoli to make their swoop.
They are now preparing early so they avoid making the same mistake when Chelsea make their expected move.
