Giampaolo Pazzini is hoping to be the Sampdoria torpedo that sinks Inter's battleship in Saturday night's San Siro conflict.
It was Pazzini's sole strike that stunned Inter in September to inflict their first loss of the season in Serie A.
He is ready to do it again and has promised to gun down the champions.
"Inter are a battleship and it will be hard to go there, but we have nothing to lose," he told Il Secolo XIX.
"In order to get a result we need a great performance and we hope that Inter are having a bad day.
"I am much better now, as are the team, following a less than perfect period.
"I have started scoring again and we are in optimum form."
Sampdoria have won their last four matches heading to the San Siro.
