Inter may have only walked away with a point against Parma, but Nerazzurri coach Jose Mourinho admits that the result suits him fine.
Even though the 'Special One' may have wanted to claim maximum points, he is happy to be walking away with something from the match.
"I think that the result is the right one. We came onto the pitch to win, and to win quickly," the tactician told TMW after the match. "It was not an easy game after having played Fiorentina last week in the Coppa Italia, and Cagliari on Sunday.
"We deserved to win in the first half, but Parma found Antonio Mirante in great form. In the second half, the match was more open, and then things occurred which made it difficult to close the match out.
"I am not angry with my players, but am moderately satisfied. The Parma players deserved a point for everything they did on the pitch."
The focus quickly changed to whether the Beneamata can now close out the race for the Scudetto.
"The campaign is now closing, and we can safeguard this lead that we have built up over Roma and Milan," he added.
