According to Corriere dello Sport, Italian giants Juventus are ready to sign Roma winger Rodrigo Taddei if the 29-year-old fails to agree a new deal with the Eternal City club.

The ex-Palmeiras man has only four and a half months left on his current contract with the Giallorossi and could join the Bianconeri on a free transfer this summer.

Fiorentina are also monitoring the situation and were already linked with a move for the player during the January transfer window.

However, Taddei seems ready to commit his long-term future to the Lupi and his agent, Alessandro Lucci, has already met with the club directors.

Barring any last-minute twists, Taddei is expected to pen a new deal by the end of February on wages of €2 million per season.
