Palermo midfielder Fabio Simplicio claims he does not know whether he will remain at the club past the end of the 2009-10 season. The former Gialloblu man was close to joining Inter during the winter transfer window before the Nerazzurri opted for McDonald Mariga, and has also been linked with Roma.

"I have requests from big teams and this makes me happy, because I always aim for the best, but these are matters for my agent, Gilmar Rinaldi," he explained to TGS Studio Sport.

"I don't know how likely it is I will remain, by the end of the season so many things can happen. I am calm and want to do well, then at the end of the campaign we'll see."

The 30-year-old came on as substitute this weekend to score a late winner against Parma.

He joined the Rosanero in 2006, and has made 22 appearances for the Sicilian club this season, helping them to fifth place in the Serie A standings.
