Diego Sees Optimism At Juventus Despite Struggles
The Brazilian is confident his team will climb the table...
By Salvatore Landolina
Diego has said Juventus can pull out of their negative trend and bring about a positive change.
"I am optimistic, we all have to be, as I saw signs that we can restart," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
He saw another struggle against Livorno as the Bianconeri's winless streak continued, but the faith is there.
"I need a goal, and so does the team. But, I am playing well on and off the ball," he added.
"My job is to provide the assists for my team-mates and to play for the team.
"We had difficulty against Livorno, but we were better in the second half," he said
"We just need one win to unblock ourselves and I think it will come soon.
"We have to continue working hard with smiles on our faces."
The question everyone is asking in Turin is whether Juventus can qualify for the Champions League, but Diego had no trouble answering.
"There are still many games to go, but we have to start winning.
"We must do it against Genoa, we need this security and conviction in what we can do."
