A flurry of reports last week suggested that Milan star Ronaldinho had recently reverted to his old partying days, which the player strenuously denied on his official website.

In his press conference on Saturday, Leonardo also slammed the reports and bemoaned the unfounded accusations.

"I'm not angry, but I would like to say that I think the basic rule in reporting news is to document the news itself with evidence," he explained.

"Personally, I have not seen any images that can back up the claims made this week about Ronaldinho. I believe in my player, I have an excellent rapport with him and I know him well.

"He has trained well all week at Milanello and has done everything that he needed to do. Ronaldinho tells me what he does and where he goes himself. I'm disappointed that this unfounded news has come out."

Leonardo then addressed matters on the pitch, and he is hoping that his squad can bounce back in a positive fashion after being held to a draw by Livorno last weekend. However, injuries still blight his side.

"Bologna are a team that are going through a good moment, they have always performed well in big games at home and I believe they will do the same tomorrow against Milan. We will have to find answers in attack in order to capitalise on the game.

"[Alessandro] Nesta isn't fit yet, he has been inactive for a long time. [Alexandre] Pato wasn't selected because he isn't fit either and he also had a problem with a wisdom tooth in the week. [Gianluca] Zambrotta also isn't in the squad - he had a minor thigh problem after recovering from his calf injury."
